The MGA is a private social club open only to adult male members of the Golf Club of Amelia Island. Its purpose, as stated in its bylaws, is "to promote the interest, good fellowship and sportsmanship of golf among male players in general and its own members particularly through the holding of monthly play days and any such other events as its officers elect."
